Who this is between
These terms govern your use of North Star, an Ardenholt program operated by Ruzylo Cloud, LLC ("we", "us"). Using North Star means you agree to them.
The service
North Star is software provided as-is: a place to keep a recovery plan you have written yourself. We work to keep it running and useful, but we offer no uptime guarantee and no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, except where the law requires one.
Not medical advice
North Star holds writing you have done. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a medical device. It does not adjust doses, interpret symptoms, or make clinical judgments of any kind. Talk to your clinician before you start, stop, or change any medication or treatment, and never set aside professional advice because of something you read here.

What you pay, and what that buys
North Star has no price yet. Nothing can be bought here today, and no figure appears on this site because none has been set. The price is published on the program page before launch and before any purchase is possible.
When it is published, these are the terms it will be published under, and they are stated now so that they cannot be quietly rewritten later.

- Thirty days, money back, no reasons needed — attached to whatever the price turns out to be.
- No advertising and no sale of what you wrote, at any price.
The thirty-day guarantee
Thirty days, money back, on every platform, with no exceptions and no reasons asked. This is a term of the program rather than a courtesy we may withdraw, and it attaches to the price on the day a price exists.
Bought from us: write to privacy@ruzylo.dev and the payment comes back. Bought through Apple: Apple handles refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com under its own policy — and if Apple declines inside our thirty days, write to us and we make it right ourselves.
Your plan is unaffected either way, because it was never anywhere but your device.
Your account, if you ever make one
You do not need an account to use North Star. Writing the plan asks for nothing at all — no email address, no sign-in, no wall in front of the thing you came for.
If an account is ever offered, it exists to prove what you own: an email address and a license key, never your reasons, your warning signs, your list of people, or anything else you wrote. Your writing never leaves your device; an account holds licenses, never your life. We run no server holding your plan, which means we cannot read it, restore it, or hand it to anyone who asks.
If you do make one, keep your sign-in link and any key private, and tell us at privacy@ruzylo.dev if you believe either has been misused.
What we will never send on your behalf
North Star does not message, alert, notify, or escalate to any other person for you. The people on your list are called by you, when you decide to call them. Nothing in the app contacts a sponsor, a partner, a clinician, or an emergency service automatically, and no future release will add that without it being your explicit, separate choice.
Acceptable use
- Do not use North Star to harm anyone.
- Do not break, probe, or reverse-engineer the service, except where the law permits it.
- Do not use it for spam, harassment, or anything illegal.
Ending it
You can stop using North Star whenever you like: delete the app and nothing of yours is left behind on our side, because nothing of yours was there. We may suspend access if we reasonably believe these terms are being broken, with notice where that is feasible.
Liability
To the maximum extent the law permits, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of North Star is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, and disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts located there.
Changes
If we make a material change we will update this sheet and the effective date at its head, and write once to anyone on the register. Continuing to use North Star after a change means you accept it.
